SGUnited Jobs Initiative
During this COVID-19 pandemic, enterprises are heavily affected by the boarder closing and the travel restriction. This has resulted in certain sectors having excess manpower and some might facing manpower shortage in short-term or long-term.
The SG United and Workforce Singapore introduces a new initiative "SG United Job Initiative". The main purpose of this initiative is to match workers to enterprise with current available jobs (created as a result of COVID-19 or those with short-term manpower needs due to the disruptions). Besides, it also aimed to help enterprises recruit for the eventual recovery. The initiative aims to create about 10,000 jobs for Singaporeans over the next one year.
