Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs)

Workforce Singapore initiate this programme to help Singaporean adapt to changing job demands, re-skills for new career, and stay agile for new opportunities.
Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) This programme assits companies by facilitating the placement of mid-career PMETs (Professinals, Managers, Executives and Technicians) into new job roles, and re-skill them to take on new job roles. Industry-recognized training will be given to PMETs to prepare them to take on new role. Besides, it also give companies a wider pool of candidates to consider while hiring. Companies can also tap on Government funding through course fee grants and salary support when training are eligible for PMETs under PCP. Currently there are around 100 PCPs across close to 30 sectors under Workforce Singapore.
Rank-and-File Place-and-Train Programme (RnF PnT) This programmes provide training and salary support to help individuals take on new or enhanced job roles. There are 3 modes of RnF PnT i) Place-and-Train: Individuals are hired by a participating employer before undergo the training to take on new job role. ii) Attach-and-Train: Training and job attachment will be provided to individuals, prior to job placement, through industry partners in growth sectors with good future opportunities. iii) Redeployment / Job Redesign (JR) Reskilling New job roles or redesigned job roles training within the same company will be give to individuals whose job are at risk at redundancy or in vulnerable job. Enhanced salary support is provided to employers who hire and re-skill Singapore Citizenz who are unemployed and actively seeking employment for 6 months or more. From 1 April 2020 onward, the enhanced salary support will also be extended to employers who hire and reskill mature Singapore Citizen.
P-Max Programme P-Max is a place-and-train programme that aim to help Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) better in recruit, manage and retain the newly-hired PMETs (Professionals, Managers, Executive and Technicians). SMEs are encourage to adopt progressive HR (Human Resources) best practices. Besides, the P-Max programme also help to place the job-seeking PMETs into suitable SMEs roles. For SMEs who tap on P-Max will send their newly-hired PMET and supervisor to attend respective workshop that ranges from 1-3 days. They will receive up to 90% course fee funding from Workforce Singapore. An Assistant Grant of up to $10,000 (term and condition apply) will be disbursed upon the successful completion of the respective workshop, 6 months follow-up and retention of the newly hired PMETs.
Career Trial The aims of career trial is to let employer access the job-seekers and also let the job-seekers to try out more jobs. Employers can access to the job-seekers' job fit through a short-term trial before offering employment to Singapore Citizen. Employer need to pay at least $1,500/month for full time position and $750/month for part-time position or more.
Career Support Programme (CSP) CSP is a salary support programme to encourage employers to hired eligible Singaporean Professionals, Managers, Executive and Technicians (PMETs) by Workforce Singapore (WSG) and the Employment and Employability Institute (NTUC's e2i)
Career Matching Services With career matching service, the in-depth career coaching will help employers find the right candidate for the job. There are 3 simple steps for this services: i) Explain Employers need to provide the required knowledge, skills and attribution of the job vacancy. ii) Entrust Employer can select suitable Singaporean candidate from the database of talent. Each job-seeker is screened through by the skill and profile-based matching process. iii) Employ Employers can engaged with the shortlisted candidates through various job matching solution to hire the best-fit for the specific positions.
